After 15 years inspiring and transforming students as an English teacher and an Activities Director, Carolyn did what she never envisioned doing: she left the classroom. The impetus for this decision was her attendance at the very first Link Crew training in 1993. After implementing Link Crew at two different schools and seeing what the program could do, she felt compelled to bring Link Crew to as many schools as possible. Carolyn began her fulltime work with Link Crew in 1999 when she was asked to be the Link Crew Program Director as well as one of its lead trainers. Carolyn brings her classroom experience as well as her passion for providing both meaningful experiences for educators and developing student leaders to trainings and workshops throughout the country. Her dynamic energy and enthusiasm create a magical experience for all who attend her workshops.
Road Team
This is the training team that you will meet if you attend one of our 3 day Basic Trainings, Refreshers, ConnectED Classroom, Information Sessions, or a personalized staff/student development day. Yes, we are in fact on the road a lot. However, we love what we do and love the people we get to work with so there is definitely an upside to all this road time. We three are the founders of The Boomerang Project. Combined we bring more than 55 years of educational experience.

Mary Beth Campbell
Co-Founder
Mary Beth was an exceptional high school English teacher and ran an award winning journalism program before her work with Link Crew. Her involvement with the program began after she attended a Link Crew training and then ran the program at her high school for five years. She fell in love with Link Crew and saw the possibility of how it could transform schools, so in 1999 when the opportunity arose she left the classroom to work for the program full time. Mary Beth is a lead trainer for both Link Crew and WEB and has been the WEB Program Director for the past nine years as well as the company’s Marketing Director. During her tenure, the program has more than doubled in numbers. Mary Beth’s far reaching talents are only superseded by her passion for excellence. With her attention to detail and a sidesplitting wit, her trainings and workshops are an experience to be had.
