The incoming class of 2015 entered the Winfield High School auxiliary gym Monday morning for their first day of high school to a round of applause and cheers.

As has happened in prior years, the new freshmen proceeded into the gym through a gauntlet formed by enthusiastic supporters that included upperclassmen, Link Crew leaders and sponsors, as well as WHS faculty and administrators.

Link Crew sponsor JJ Marafioti led new students in the bleachers in a series of warmup and team-building activities. Next, the freshmen took to the gym floor for more one-on-one exercises to get better acquainted.
